Has anyone gotten this to work? Does anyone know how exactly these things work (e.g. what internal jobs/procedures really kick them off), I'd like to debug, but don't know how w/o tracing the entire db.

I have 2 issues with them
1) some just don't run
2) some are returning an error to EM on a fairly simple 'select count(*)' query
Type Database
Metric User Defined Metrics
Collection Timestamp May 16, 2006 11:14:38 AM Error Type Collection Failure
Message ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small ORA-06512: at line 3

Just reminds me why I hate GUIs :) The trending data offered by EM would be nice though.
.......
We run Oracle 9iR2,10gR1/2 on RH4/RH3
