Rajesh,

I have not done it but it can be done. You do not need to create 2 virtual machines.

You would be running on one OS and create a new virtual machine and do you job.

But for that you need to install the oracle software again on setup the connectivity on both
osses.

For testing purpose,
You can use physical standby server on same machine without using the VMware
