Hello DBAs

Thank you previous answers.
Pls tell me why oracle says to make table and Index in Different Tablespace to Improve Performance.How can it increase Performance, and according to Books undo data only go into Undo Tablespace than if Undo Tablespace is corrupted then how can rollback statement works and where is OLD Data which was updated.

Pls help
