Opening a TAR with oracle support would be the first thing to do in my opinion at this point.

Most oracle professionals attempting to earn "cred" with their boss might pursue the oracle support angle prior to or along with posting in cdos.

The dramatic "sigh" and "got piled on yesterday" quotes are also ones you might want to think about. There are challenges and opportunities in every job is one way to look at things -- and you are even getting paid to learn things outside of your experience base.
