RAC details

Folks,
I did oracle RAC about 2years back that time, I had used the following

Solaris 8
Sun cluster 3.1
Veritas Cluster support
Raw volume (using Veritas )

Now that things have changed ,i would like to try out the oracle10g on solaris again.I read this forum and came to some conclusion on 10gRAC (correct me if I am wrong)

Type 1)
oracle 10gr2 (Clusterware) -- This case we don`t need any 3rd party clustering. all we need is
OS + oracle10gr2 + ASM/raw volume

Type2)
OS + Sun Cluster 3.1 + Data service for RAC + SVM/Vxvm/qfs/asm
