Yup. Threaded, and therefore there is NO need to quote - above or below. However, it is still polite to quote only that part that is relevant to assist those who jumping in from the side - as is prone to happen in a newsgroup.
Top posting is simply a sign of being too lazy - or too arrogant - to have any concern for other readers. <sigh>

Or, like some in this leapfroggin world, that beta software from Microsoft is better than production from Oracle - and then yelling 'no fair' when the next beta from Oracle is used in comparison.
