Dumb question. When I try to increase buffer cache of Oracle DB 10.1.0.3.1 on MS Window 2000, I get following error: ORA-4033: Insufficient memory to grow pool

Mealink Note 172563.1 says this happens when the system has insufficient memroy. But the system has almost 2gb of free memory when DB is open, and current DB cache size is only 400m. What should I do? Thank you in advance. Received on Tue Feb 14 2006 - 09:08:00 CST
