Don't worry.
The location of 'coraenv', 'oraenv' and 'dbhome' is not stored anywhere, that's why root.sh asks you for the location every time.

You can just move them to whatever directory you like or even delete them.

Files in /usr/local/bin (which is a directory and not a folder) are executables that are installed only on this machine and are not intended to be shared with other machines.

If you read the files Oracle puts there you will find a description:

'oraenv' can be used to set your environment for Oracle (ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID, etc.).

'coraenv' is the same for C shell users.

'dbhome' will try to guess your ORACLE_HOME when given an ORACLE_SID.
