Hi All

I'm struggling with trying to get OEM to work in a clustered environment.

I have 2 oracle servers running under Veritas Cluster Server. I've managed to get the Intelligent Agent binding to the virtual IP address so I can discover the cluster as a node.

The problem I now have is that when I schedule jobs they stay as 'submitted' instead of changing to 'started' and 'completed' etc.

The jobout directory in the agent area is getting output files generated which contain stuff like:

Fatal NI connect error 12538, connecting to:

(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=BEQ)(PROGRAM=ORACLE)(ARGV0=ORACLEXSTAGE)(ARGS='(DESCRIPTION=(LOCAL=YES)(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=beq)))'))(CONNECT_DATA=(CID=(PROGRAM=m:\OracleAgent\Ora92\bin\dbsnmpj.exe)(HOST=ARGON)(USER=nodeuser))))

  VERSION INFORMATION:
        TNS for 32-bit Windows: Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production   Time: 02-FEB-2006 10:07:58
  Tracing to file:
  Tns error struct:
    nr err code: 0
    ns main err code: 12538
TNS-12538: TNS:no such protocol adapter     ns secondary err code: 12560
    nt main err code: 508
    TNS-00508: No such protocol adapter
    nt secondary err code: 0
    nt OS err code: 0

Any ideas? Received on Thu Feb 02 2006 - 05:41:01 CST
