Oracle Press is not owned by Oracle.

Oracle Press books are not technically reviewed by Oracle.

I'd suggest putting faith into individual authors like Tom Kyte and Jonathan Lewis based upon their proven expertise rather than a publisher's name.

That said ... most Oracle Press books are useful and I have two shelves full of them so this is not a slam on Oracle Press.
