That would be using Oracle SQL. Balu was not talking in SQL, but rather in a usenet dialect of English.

I often use another language that works on Oracle, but indeed uses ADD and DELETE to do those things to Oracle tables. If you think about it, what is dropping a table other than messing with the data called metadata? And with a recycle bin, is it really dropped or deleted anyways?
