Change private interface subnet of cluster interconnect

Hi,

I've found a document in metalink describing how to use oifcfg in order to change ip address of public/interconnect in a 10g cluster (Note:283684.1), but the document does not specifiy whether i should do this while the instances are down or not, or when all the cluster process (evm,css,crs) are up or not.

Anyone has any exprience with that?
