Giving relevant information always helps (e.g. platform, OS, Oracle version, etc..).

As to your question, the best way to do this is by means of an export of the schema, i.e.
Export (up to Oracle9i) or Datapump (Oracle10g):

exp username/password owner=schema_name file=export_file_name Received on Wed Jan 11 2006 - 08:47:00 CST
