I just made a fairly quick assessment based on the known issues with 9.2.0.7 -- there were at least a couple of big things that were known right out of the box with the 9.2.0.7 patchset ( some hpux specific some not ).

Sorry I can't remember in detail. Yeah I am sure there are issues with the security patches.

It looked ugly enough to me that I didn't waste any more time.

Why even bother putting it out as 9.2.0.7 if there are major items known immediately?

What a waste of time and lack of quality assurance.

Larry talked about quality at Open World briefly but I am not seeing it from the maintenance side. The Elbonian's appear to be getting the upper hand. Received on Thu Jan 05 2006 - 18:31:43 CST
