"must be a convention" ? You would like there to be convention but there is no technical or readability reason why this "must" be the case. Reading through this thread in its entirety shows that some people prefer top posting, some bottom posting, and some interleaved. By removing the (top, bottom, whatever) posting requirement from the charter, it might also remove an opportunity for you and your cohorts to rub people up the wrong way. I would like this news group to discuss Oracle and not the endless insult trading that so often includes your name. Regardless of the charter, I hope that your New Years resolution includes adopting a more mature and less provocative tone so that this all stops.
