Let's forget the 10053 trace results.
When you add your criterium "AND asg1.effdt < = cal.dur" the only line that changes is the following:
> INDEX (RANGE SCAN) OF 'PS_SCH_CLND_TBL' (UNIQUE)
> (Cost=11 Card=2179 Bytes=37043)
because adding a ref. to the column DUR (which is the 2nd field of your index key PS_SCH_CLND_TBL) requires much more work from Oracle: couldn't it be something to start from to further investigate your issue ? Received on Thu Dec 22 2005 - 04:12:53 CST
