I have no problem in facing the mirror ;-)

vmcborcl:~ # /sbin/sysctl -a | grep shm

kernel.shm-use-hugepages = 0
kernel.shmmni = 4096
kernel.shmall = 2097152
kernel.shmmax = 3294967296

vmcborcl:~ # /sbin/sysctl -a | grep sem
kernel.sem = 1250       32000   100     256
vmcborcl:~ # /sbin/sysctl -a | grep ip_local_port_range
net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range = 1024     65000


Problem still exists. Is there a kernel parameter missing? Kernel Parameters are set with the orarun.rpm whis is provided by Suse/Novell. But your hint is important, I will perform a kernel/system update asap.
