The 10.2 oracle install of the oracle clusterware ( required for 10.2 RAC optional for 9.2 ) can support both oracle environments in the same cluster.

Veritas or not isn't really a factor for the RAC oracle clusterware part. Of course you can use the veritas clustered file system to host the oracle database files. Or you could explore ASM.

The concepts, install and admin and RAC documentation from oracle should address your planned environment. I recommend spending a bunch of time reading it while you are still doing your initial planning. Received on Wed Dec 14 2005 - 08:02:30 CST
