Bob it's time to give up on this thread.

Nobody is buying 100 CPU Itanium nodes and building RAC systems from them.

Nobody believes you that Itanium is a particularly good solution for oracle. It's an option, certainly, that a number of oracle customers might consider. No more than that.

For people that are interested in "scaling up" a large oracle system with a large number of processors in a node, well that market is still mostly owned by sun.

Who exactly is building large oracle Itanium systems?

Give us some names and examples or please stop posting to this thread.
