So now when I read in metalink that the problem that I'm facing in 10.1.0.4.x is fixed in 10.2.0.1 ... I can just set compatible forward and reboot?

That sure beats upgrading/patching/opatch hell.

(I believe that oracle has a sanity check in it, such that if compatible is set above the binary version, that the value is reduced to the version of the binary). Received on Fri Dec 09 2005 - 15:28:04 CST
