Basically if you were to set the log_buffer to size which is consider way larger than the usual. In my opinion you would get just terrible database performance with enormous amounts of disk I/O. The Redolog buffer would be just huge and all the other components of the SGA would not have enough memory to operate properly. Received on Thu Dec 08 2005 - 23:43:47 CST
