10gR2 RHL4 on AMD opteron 64-bit or HP Itanium?

I am ready to build a 2-Node RAC using 10gR2,  and this time it's going
to be 64-bit Linux.  The hardware options are AMD opteron 64-bit or HP
Itanium.  Is there anyone who has gone through the
evaluation/implementation process that can help me make a "better"
decision?
