Evidently the size of the buffer cache and the log buffer is quite ridiculous.
Reduce the log buffer to 1M and use v$db_cache_advice to reduce the size of the buffer cache. 1G is not buying you anything. Your assertion all sql statements are well tuned is hard to believe, looking at the size of the buffer cache. You may want to consider throwing away the application and start all over again.
