If you have EMC and SRDF already then use those technologies.

This is proven disaster recovery technology.

You can supplement them with data guard if needed for reporting purposes.

You need to be in either synchronous or asynchronous mode to be support by oracle if that is important to you and it is to most people who have EMC and SRDF.
