Even if Oracle, the product, was not more than equal to the challenge. I'd work in Oracle just for the sense of humour and humanity of the people I'd be working with.

I can not imagine, not even in my wildest dreams, going to a DB2 conference and hearing the likes of Mogens Nørgaard. Somewhere in the DB2 kernel there is an instruction something like: TRUNCATE PERSPECTIVE.
