Actually, I agree that you don't "need" to reorg indexes in either database,
but reorgs of indexes do have some benefits after a lot of update activity.
Index rows are maintained in the exact index order, but page splits, and
location of new pages that are not in correct physical sequence may occur. I
agree that this is not critical in either database, and most DBA's ignore
it.
