Sybrand,
I know about the desupported status of 8i and 8.0.5, as does our IT manager. Migration of those databases is planned for next year. I will read the documentation of course but I was just looking for people with more or less the same environment. I'm sure there are a lot of combinations of 8i/9i/10g out there :-)
