I don't know anything about erwin, but just thinking out loud, how about creating a new schema, put in synonyms to the tables you want, skipping the ones you don't? (With appropriate grants from the original schema, of course.)

If the tables are analysed and you only want the ones with rows in them, these synonyms and grants might be easily generated from sql.
