Hello all,
I'm in the process of planing an Database-Upgrade from 10gR1 to 10gR2. Operation Sytem is Windows 2003 Server SP1 fully patched. While reading through the "Oracle Database Upgrade Guide" I came over the point where it is stated to run the Oracle Net Configuration Assistant. I'm nt sure how to complete this step, my plan is as follows:

1.) shutdown listener from 10gR1-Home
2.) make sure it does not start automaticly
3.) configure new LISTENER with same settings as old one

My question is now, if this is a valid plan that will work out correctly.

Any help appreciated,
