What do you mean by 'integration'? and 'good book'?

Both Oracle-OracleDB and IBM-DB2 documentation have manuals that include a lot of discussion about the interlinking services. In Oracle's case, the Heterogeneous Services docco available for the appropriate version at http://docs.oracle.com is the relevant doc.

In addition, from Oracle's side you could look at the Application Server info at http://otn.oracle.com and drill into the Integration Services area.
