Thanks - I use IP Address for remote connections and domain name for
local. I have change the local one now to use IP add. Another thing I
changed was the listener.ora so it specifies the extenal IP Address of
the machine instead of domainname which was pointing to 127.0.0.1 but I
don't know why I did this really just to ee if it helps.
