i am working on solaris

OS version:         5.8
Processor type:     sparc

and oracle version
Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.5.0

  1. look at your alert.log for hints, and i have seen logs the only information i got is the abnormal termination of db connection
  2. use your support contract to discuss this with Oracle Support We do have support contract what i wonder is that is it an oracle problem which needs to be patched or its just another set up issue. i have seen couple of post on net talking about insufficient swap space but that doesnt make a sense to me
