oracle 10g how to resize the TEMP tablespace

Hi



I have been trying to reduce the size of the TEMP tablespace,
unfortunately every time I try I get this error message




ORA-03297: file contains used data beyond requested RESIZE value



This is oracle 10G , in previous oracle versions I was able to reduce
with no issues the temp tablespace, what has happen with oracle 10g now
