E, your post is not very clear

For starters what version of Oracle are you working with. If you are on 10g and have a flashback database area configured then you can roll back the database otherwise you are talking about performing a full database recovery. But according to your post you do not have a backup or it is from Friday. You do not identify what kind of backup it is: hot vs cold, rman vs manual nor do you tell us the archive mode of the database so board readers have very little to go on.

Is the file marked as needing recovery one of the datafiles that was part of the tablespace you 'deleted'?

How do you delete a tablespace anyway? In Oracle you DROP TABLESPACE.

Please identify the version, archive mode, availability and type of backups available.

Explain exactly what you did prior to the crash if it relates to the datafiles being marked as needing recovery.
