Technically possible.

However, as it's not certified, you can get 'exceptional results' occurring with no support from Oracle and very little sympathy from cdo group regulars.

Why little sympathy? There are enough issues and things to understand in a certified environment that professionals tend to avoid introducing additional uncertainty.

If this is for private study, many of us encourage you switch to Linux. Specifically WhiteBox Linux, Tao Linux or CentOS, all of which are free clones of the certified Red Hat EL3. From an app perspective, Oracle works the same on these as on Windows. And there is very little difference from a DBA's prespective as well.
