No it probably cannot ... at least not easily. There may be ways to install onto a usb or internal not SATA hard drive first then build your own kernel.

But why not try it out and see for sure ... ( don't just believe what anyone tells you ... question authority! ).

If your only goal is to install oracle, while I don't generally recommend oracle on windows, you might be better off installing a windows operating system then installing oracle on that machine.

I think I did see someone else post on cdos that they had been able to do a fedora 4 oracle install so maybe you should try and search and find that thread if you can. Received on Fri Sep 30 2005 - 12:17:33 CDT
