Hi,

Oracle 9.2.0.6 on Windows or Unix:

When I read a file by means of a external table, the fullstop is interpreted as the decimal character. How do I change that to a comma, for this external table file only?
I tried performing an ALTER SESSION of NLS_TERRITORY or NLS_DECIMAL_CHARACTERS, but this doesn't change the interpretation, it only changes the displayed character in the SELECT-output from a fullstop to a comma.
