What does listener.log say? Please post the entire error stack, including lines like this:

TNS-12500:...
...
TNS-00510: Internal limit restriction exceeded

    32-bit Windows Error: 8: Exec format error

In addition, keep an eye on memory usage of the processes on the server. Are there other big memory intensive programs running?
