OEM not connecting to NEW repository - SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

i have used EMCA to drop my original repository "OEMREP" (after not being able to successfully rename it) - selecting to remove it in its entirety (not just repository only).

to my surprise, i found all the files, services etc associated with OEMREP still in existance. i had thought that all of these files would have been removed so i:

when i started the gui OEM, i found i could log in standalone, but not log into the OMS.

looked at oms.nohup found that the OMS appears to be trying to connect to the old OEMREP:

what i need:

someone please answer or at least refer me to someplace where i can find the answer myself. i've already googled around and can't find anything similar to my problem. all help gratefully received :)
