Sure.
Whenever you start using RMAN, RMAN manages archivelogs. Anyone deleting archivelogs outside RMAN should have their hands chopped off. Evidently you think you are smarter than RMAN. RMAN will determine whether it needs those archivelogs or not. RMAN doesn't need manual intervention.
So deleting those archivelogs was exactly the most stupid thing you could do.

Try to read the RMAN documentation *slowly and carefully*, and don't touch any keyboard to hack your way out, before you fully understand Oracle backup and recovery.
