It is in the $ORACLE_HOME/bin directory, and you should have copied it to your local bin directory, either /usr/local/bin or usr/lbin You should also copy the dbhome script, as dbstart relies on it. Don't you think you couldn't have found that yourself (either by issuing ls $ORACLE_HOME/bin/dbstart OR by reading the installation instructions)?
