Were we talking about "Two-Guys-In-A-Garage, Inc." and their database product I would agree. But it is disingenuous to claim there is an issue of financial viability between IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle.

So I'll buy your argument if comparting DB2 with PosgreSQL or Oracle with Ingres or Informix with FireBird. But in this group, with the products being discussed it is a red herring.
