I have a low budget x86, and the install of 10g took 35 minutes :D

Nothing filed, but it was a supported combo: 10g/RHAS 3

Known problems.

Ah - 64 bit versions?!? Did you install the 64 bit Oracle version? No.

Either do that, or install the 32 bit libraries, and retry.
