Cool- thanks for the info- didn't know about that. Oracle claims this is unique to its database. As I read it, it is the same in practical terms as a clustered index in SQL Server or Sybase which they have had for years. In fact, it seems it was more flexible than IOT because it could be "indexed": on multiple columns while an IOT is on one column. Received on Thu Aug 04 2005 - 23:12:48 CDT
