Cause I am trying to simulate a DR situation. I am trying to failover our LIVE production system to another database WITHOUT taking the LIVE production system down...

Luckily I have a test environment. My test LIVE box is SND, the standby is SSND. I would like to make data changes in SND, transfer the files and process them on SSND then simulate pulling the plug on SND and bring SSND up to see if what was done on SND apprears on SSND.

We don't have the luxury of being able to pull the plug on our live production system...

Come race with us!
