Thanks for the response.  



I'm not meaning to doubt what you said (and I've seen some info that
seems to confirm what you said), but does that mean that the Oracle
Apache version went "backwards" from the one that gets installed with
the Oracle 9i database server (on one of my 9i installations, it says
"Apache/1.3.22 (Win32)")?
