By the way I have AIX 5.1 64bit
With 8GB of physical memory

My production SGA max size is set to 305 MB My test SGA max size is set to 865 MB

My test database is usually on a server that as 2GB of memory.

Right now paging space is only at 1GB. I should change it to 8-16GB

How do you know how much memory OS needs?
