Here is a document on installing Oracle 10g on fedora Core 4.

It is the same process to prepare the LINUX (FC4) server to install 10g/9iRel2. It should work unless you already tried and failed to install.

there might be a problem w/ the 'gcc', you might need to find the gcc-compat(rpm) from FC3 disks/ftp mirrors.
