Re forms I have the source files so
what I meant was I will convert them or migrate them to 10g because, yes, Oracle
did away with client server. I have seen various advice about the forms conversion floating around. We'll see how it works out in real life.

 I note that the problem of the web form not running on the client, causing any file accesses to not be on the client is presumably fixed by using "webutil" http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/webutil/WebUtilFAQ.htm This is an issue for some of our forms that write files for the user's PC to import into word. I would dearly like to not have to rig up a way for users to transfer files from that forms server to their pc especially since they are accustomed to not having
to do that in forms6i. Also I put a print function on most forms that called notepad to do the printing, and I hope to be able to port that via webutil's host feature.

I doubt this is going to be particularly easy but it has to happen. (Sorry I brought up
