Re forms I have the source files so
what I meant was I will convert them or migrate them to 10g because,
yes, Oracle
did away with client server. I have seen various advice about the forms
conversion floating around. We'll see how it works out in real life.
I note that the problem of the web form
not running on the client, causing any file accesses to not be on the
client is presumably fixed by using "webutil"

This is an issue for some of our forms that write files for the user's
PC to import into word. I would dearly like to not have to rig up a
way for users to transfer files from that
forms server to their pc especially since
they are accustomed to not having
to do that in forms6i. Also I put a print
function on most forms that called notepad
to do the printing, and I hope to be able to port that via webutil's
host feature.

I doubt this is going to be particularly easy but it has to happen.
