Thanks. I believe I got tripped up by the stats_history_availability which showed.

GET_STATS_HISTORY_AVAILABILITY

05-JUN-05 10.30.34.906000000 AM -06:00 I initially attempted to restore the stats as of 10pm of 6/5/05. I then checked the last_analyzed column and still saw a date of 7/6/05.

After querying dba_tab_statistics I saw that the oldest set of stored stats on the table are from 6/13/05. I then restored the stats as of 6/13/05 at 10:35 AM and then last_analyzed column gave the expected result of 6/13/05.

I understand now that you have to pick a restore timestamp that follows the timestamp of the oldest set of stored statistics regardless of what the availability timestamp shows. Received on Wed Jul 06 2005 - 14:01:12 CDT
